If you do then you know your ignition is working. If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.Take a pair of bare metal handled pliers and jump across the solenoid that is just to the rear and below the drivers seat. Be careful, as it will start in any gear without pressing the brake pedal. If the battery is good, and it doesn't turn over at that point, then the starter motor has failed, likely from a bad front bearing. The rear end got about a foot of air, came down, engine power cutting in and out till it finally shut off within 100 feet after landing. If you do then you know your ignition is working. Siphoned the gas out of the ranger yesterday and poured in 5 gallons of 93 no ethanol fresh out of the pump. Had to give it a shot of starting fluid to start. Used the ranger several times with no problem starting. Ranger started normal today after sitting for over 24 hours. It sounds like you still might not be getting enough power to start the machine. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery.
